About Our Company

Jason Kimmel founded the company in July of 1998 as a sole proprietorship in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. In March, 1999, the company was incorporated with Jason Kimmel and Chris Morris as the primary shareholders.

All of our work is completed in-house in Coeur d'Alene. None of our plant building is outsourced, none of it occurs overseas.

Leadership

Jason Kimmel

President

Prior to starting Kimmel Corp, Jason worked as a Technology Specialist for Stewart Title of North Idaho in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. There he handled all areas of information technology. Prior to that, Jason worked as a Systems Coordinator for Scan Systems, Inc. which was later acquired by Landata Corporation. Jason helped grow the company from a small, two-employee startup to a leading distributor of title insurance software products. While employed with Scan Systems, and later Landata, Inc., he was responsible for software training, installations and Title Plant for Windows tech support, while also managing numerous service projects. Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Southern Utah University in 1994.

Chris Morris

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Chris joined Kimmel Corporation in August of 1999. Previously, he worked as a financial analyst for a regional bank based in Boise, Idaho. Prior to working in the banking sector, Chris was employed by Pioneer Title  Insurance Company, also in Boise. Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho in 1993.

Brian Matthews

Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Brian joined Kimmel Corp in September, 1999. Prior to joining the company, Brian worked for Landata Technologies in Fort Collins, Colorado, working as Title Plant for Windows Support Specialist. He was responsible for software training, installations, and technological support associated with Title Plant for Windows software. Additionally, Brian assisted with software development programs and product conversions. Prior to working for Landata Technologies, he worked for Landata, Inc. of Utah, located in Salt Lake City. Brian was both a product support specialist and the company’s Operations Manager, responsible for day to day operations and project management.

Staci Crawford

Title Plant Manager

Staci joined Kimmel Corp in May, 2001. Prior to her career with Kimmel Corp, Staci worked for Pioneer Title in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in 1997. Staci currently manages Kimmel Corp's title plant operations, particularly in regards to structuring new plant builds and ensuring best practices. She performs software and plant demonstrations as well as ongoing client communications and training,and is a licensed abstractor in Oklahoma.

Rich Chatfield

Sales/Marketing Director

Rich joined Kimmel Corp on a full time basis July, 2001. Previously, Rich held positions in a wide spectrum of careers including managing a golf teaching facility in Olympia, Washington, clerking three years for House of Representatives at the Washington State Legislature, and held several positions with his father’s North Idaho logging operation. Rich began his internship at Kimmel Corp with several years of document scanning and courthouse evaluation training, eventually moving into his current position as the director of marketing and in charge of PropertySync software and Title Plant Services sales.

Erin Enders

Go-Forward Posting Manager

Erin joined Kimmel Corporation in April, 2004. She has spent time as office manager for her family's HVAC company, has worked at Hillsboro School District and as Placement Coordinator/ Supervisor at a local in-home care company. Erin helped to develop our Go-Forward Posting Department that now has reputation for excellence across the country. She manages our Go-Forward office's daily operation and quality assurance. She also provides customer service and support, and is a licensed Abstractor in the State of Oklahoma.

Rebecca Haynes

Back Plant Manager

Rebecca joined Kimmel Corporation in March of 2006. Rebecca has since traveled extensively for the company to do on-site courthouse research. She currently manages our back planting department with Theresa Marinello, and is a licensed Abstractor in the State of Oklahoma.

Theresa Marinello

Back Plant Manager

With over 20 years experience as a paralegal, Theresa has a strong background in business and real estate administration. She has prepared recorded documents of all kinds: from simple real estate transactions to Wills, Trusts and Probates. Theresa is a licensed abstractor in Oklahoma. She started her career with Kimmel Corp in March of 2004.

Amy Veale

IT Manager

Amy graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems and minored in Computer Forensics. Amy started her career at Kimmel Corp in March of 2009. She monitors all image and data transfers, completes the go-forward transfer reports, and manages the internal technology needs for the company.

Julie Nowak

Administrative Assistant

Julie worked in book keeping and accounting positions for 15 years prior to her career with Kimmel Corp. She joined the company in 2009. Along with answering phones, organizing, scheduling and human resources duties, Julie has been keeping our records straight for 3 years now.
